Project Town House: A Fusion of Modernity and Mid-Century Design
The design of this unique townhouse was an inspiring interplay of vision and architecture. The house itself, a tribute to the fusion of different styles, served as a profound source of inspiration. The harmonious collaboration with the clients was key to achieving this exceptional result. Being involved during the planning phase allowed me to shape the design concept fundamentally by influencing the selection of architectural details from the outset.
The vision was clear: a 1960s house, marked by the passage of time, was to give way to modern yet timeless architecture. The interior needed to embody openness and vibrancy, evolving with time while retaining warmth and comfort.
For me, achieving a seamless integration of architecture and interior design was essential. To counterbalance the house's robust, raw architecture, I introduced expansive natural materials to create a deeply warm atmosphere. This concept of warmth and harmony became a guiding thread throughout the entire design process, manifesting in every detail.
The interior design aimed to strike a balance between the clarity of open-plan living, coziness, practicality, and luxury. Each room was crafted to stand as an individual space while seamlessly interacting with the adjoining areas. The house’s natural surroundings played a key role, acting as a tranquil retreat that enhances the living atmosphere.
For materials and interiors, we sourced a range of international products. The furniture design includes bespoke built-in pieces alongside carefully selected statement items, such as the dining table and the pendant light in the master bathroom. Both impress with their visual appeal, exceptional quality, and functional design.

Each of the three guest bathrooms is defined by its unique character – from a jungle-inspired vibe to Moroccan luxury and a masculine retreat. The main bathrooms emphasize a spa-like ambiance and natural elements: floors crafted from imported grey travertine, walls finished in a Mediterranean-style plaster, and linen-blend curtains create an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation.
